Inspector Rob McColl is in charge of the Detective Division.

This division includes seven plain-clothes investigative sections of the Saanich Police. These sections are staffed with police officers that have specialized in their respective fields of investigation. Officers circulate into these sections on 3 to 5 year rotations.
