Starbucks Vandalized

spacer

Between 2:30 and 3:30 am on December 12th, three Starbucks coffee shops were targeted with vandalism.

The first call came in for the store at 4077 Shelbourne St.  The alarm had been activated and police found five windows smashed.  Large rocks lay on the floor inside.

Minutes later, Saanich Police received a call from a delivery person saying that there was damage to the Starbucks at 3849 Cadboro Bay Rd.   In this case, paint had been thrown against doors, windows and store signage.

As a pattern was emerging, officers checked the other Starbucks stores located in the area and found damage to the one located at 3605 Shelbourne St.  Similar to the Cadboro Bay store, this one was hit with eggs that had been filled with paint.

Police continue to investigate and are reviewing surveillance footage from all three locations.  If you have any information about this crime, please call the Saanich Police at 250-475-4321 or Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
