A woman, walking north on Quadra St by Reynolds Ave, was robbed this morning, Wednesday January 13th, just minutes before 7am.  The woman was approached from behind by an unknown man, who threatened her and demanded her purse.  She handed it over and the man then jumped into the passenger side of a newer looking car that was stopped behind her.

The suspect man is described as:

• 18-25 years old
• 5’6” to 5’7”
• Thin build
• Dark, medium length straight hair
• Scruffy facial hair
• Ordinary looking
• Wearing a dark black or grey jacket and blue jeans

The man got into a car described as:

• Dark coloured – probably black or dark blue
• Newer model in very good condition
• Blue backlighting on the dashboard – behind speedometer and other displays
• Possibly having a ‘W’ in the licence plate number

The woman was not hurt in the robbery and immediately ran to a nearby restaurant to call for help.
