A red Ford pickup truck involved in a hit and run is sought by police.  The crash happened at 2:30am on Sunday, January 24th.  An 18 year old Chilliwack man was driving his 2005 Toyota Corolla east up Cedar Hill Cross Road, when a red Ford truck blew the stop sign at Richmond Road.  The Chilliwack man could not avoid a collision with this truck as it suddenly appeared in front of him.  The Corolla hit the rear driver’s side quarter panel on the truck.                    

The Corolla’s front end was damaged but thankfully the driver was not injured.  The truck fled the area immediately after the crash.  This truck should have extensive damage to the driver’s side rear panel and back bumper.
