At approximately 11:20 PM on Thursday 04 February 2010, Saanich Police responded to a call of a stabbing at a residence in the 3900 block of Wilkinson Road.  Saanich Police arrived on scene within minutes and located a 53 year old male with life threatening wounds.  The male was transported to the Victoria General Hospital by EHS and later succumbed to his wounds. 

Saanich Police currently have a 17 year old Young Offender in custody who will be appearing in court Friday afternoon.

Members of the Saanich Police Major Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Section were called out and are currently investigating.
