Liquor Fines Increase

On January 1st, 2010, fines associated to the Liquor Control and Licensing Act were increased significantly to better reflect the serious public safety consequences of liquor offences and to bring the fines in line with other provinces.  The new fines are hoped to act as a strong deterrent to street level disorder.
