Inspector Terry Parker is in charge of the Staff Development Division.

This division is comprised of an Inspector, a Recruiting and Career Pathing Sergeant (Sgt. Tyra Reid), a Response Options and Training Sergeant (Sgt. Darryl Harris) and an Administrative Assistant. The Division is responsible for the recruiting/hiring process for police constables, overseeing training as required within the department, and liaises with the Justice Institute of B.C. and other agencies on training related issues.
